REVIEW: Zonotope™ - Zero Gravity

9 out of 10

Your brain is always sending random messages to your body. It feeds you information, it nourishes your every curiosity, and (probably-most importantly) it keeps you alive. Isn't it time you let your brain relax a little and become a little more self-realized/stimulated? Take one dose (or however many you want, be careful though it may be addictive) of Zonotope™'s "Zero Gravity" and call me the next day.

Zonotope™ is reminiscent of Raymond Scott re-recording/producing Brian Eno's earlier work. The music is soft, peculiar (very peculiar), and thick on rich/lush Sci-Fi accents. Spacey synths, blossoming moogs, off the wall samples, and a sense of humor that shouldn't go ignored, even though the message may seem heavy at times. Zonotope™ is exactly what your brain needs every morning. Physical audial form that massages as well as stimulates ones brain while listening to it is good for you. Why aren't more people aware of this yet..?

One of the year's best. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Standout Tracks: All of these songs are the bees between the ankle and thigh area. ESPECIALLY; Zero Gravity, Every Brain Is A Universe (♥this♫), Comcast® EntityContact On Demand (this doesn't need to end)
