Dan Deacon scoring a movie ..uhhh what?

Yep. Dan Deacon will be scoring Francis Ford Coppola's next film, Twixt Now And Sunrise. I'm not sure what to make of this.. A truly unlikely pairing for sure, as well as an entertaining concept. Hollywood could use a little Wham! right now right? Kudos to you Mr. Deacon, kudos to you.

Tetsuo + Trent Reznor =

Tetsuo: The Bullet Man is the 3rd movie in this terrifically underrated franchise, the first new one in over 18 years! Any true rivet head should know that the original Tetsuo: The Iron Man is a MUST OWN.

Q: Gawd, how perfect is it that Trent Reznor is doing score work for this????
A: THIS perfect.

Have you watched this yet??

The 2nd trailer for Tron 2 just went up, there's new Daft Punk music in it. Reminds me of the score Thomas Bangalter (1/2 DP) did for the movie "Irreversible" with a slightly dancier edge.
Can't wait to see this movie!

Portishead/Goldfrapp collaboration..

Goldfrapp producer/multi-instrumentalist Will Gregory and Portishead producer/multi-instrumentalist Adrian Utley are creating a new score for Carl Theodor Dreyer's classic film "The Passion of Joan of Arc".

They will premiere their score May 7 at Bristol, England's Colston Hall. The performance will feature six electric guitarists, members of the Monteverdi Choir, percussionists, horn players, & keyboard pushers, along with Gregory and Utley.

It seems like these two bands would have joined forces by now..(better late than never!)

Speaking of weird/artsy videos...

No Age recently did a score for a pretty bizarre Sci-Fi art film...

Check it HERE.

Blonde Redhead doing a movie score..

The Dungeon Masters comes out on February 2nd..

I'm just "die"ing to see it.. Oh! Get it? :(

Pretty decent compilation..

Really, I just want the remix portion..
