Oh my.. Check out the 100th Ghostly release...

From Ghostly:

For Ghostly International's hundredth release (GI-100), we wanted to commemorate the occasion with something more than music, something bigger, more permanent--a humble monument to our first decade's work and a gift to our loyal fans. With that in mind, we give you Manzoku: The Ghostly Bento.

The Ghostly Bento was inspired by Japan and its tradition of quality, service, and design--values that Ghostly has always cherished. "Manzoku" is a Japanese word that roughly translates to "satisfaction." Thus, the Bento is an intimate celebration of satisfaction in multiple forms--tactile, visual, aural--packaged in a handcrafted wooden box, stained and etched with a stunning image by LA artist Dosa Kim.

The Ghostly Bento is extremely limited in quantity (only 50 boxes were made) and handmade by a team of artists, designers, and craftspeople working closely with Ghostly International. Typical Japanese bento boxes pair disparate flavors within one container, and The Ghostly Bento is no different: nestled in the box's three compartments, one finds a squid-adorned edition of Horizon Line / Ghostly By Night, our era-defining double-disc compilation; a micro-fibre Ghostly tie, featuring Dosa's design screen-printed by Cyberoptix; and a pair of wooden Ghostly chopsticks.

The result of creative collaboration, meticulous detailing, and old-fashioned hard work, Manzoku: The Ghostly Bento is a ceremonial token of satisfaction--both ours and yours.

Happiness = $100 less in your bank account.

Have you heard about the Neu! box set yet??

NEU! "Complete Retrospective" Limited Edition Vinyl Box Set comes out June 29th, 2010 via Groenland Records

From Michael Rother (1/2 Neu!):
"I am very happy to know that with the NEU! vinyl box set our fans will for the first time have the opportunity to hear the whole bandwidth of NEU!. My partner Klaus Dinger sadly passed away in 2008 but he has been in our minds all during the work on this box set and his visual ideas for NEU! were our inspiration. . . Most of all I'm thrilled about the release of the album NEU! ´86 which Klaus Dinger and I originally recorded in 1985/86, but left unfinished back then and which led to some unfortunate problems between Klaus and myself in the 90s. I now completely reworked the album from original multi-track and master tapes, and unearthed a few yet unknown tracks, which are essential for a full understanding of what Klaus and I focused on for NEU! in the mid 80s. It was my aim to present Klaus Dinger’s musical strengths and visions just as much as my own ideas. The best musical result was to be my only guideline, not the ego. All during the emotional process of reworking our album Klaus was on my mind and I contemplated what he would think about my decisions."

Here's whats inside!:
4 vinyl LPs & 1 vinyl maxi-single including:
NEU!
NEU! 2
NEU! ‘75
NEU! ’86
NEU! ’72 non-public test
36 pages picturebook & NEU! stencil
Personal download code for digital versions of the songs and free NEU! t-shirt

Here's my favorite track ever of theirs. From the album "'75":

New(ish) Lovesliescrushing work on the way..(finally)

From LLC:

I am now narrowing in on the production of Lovesliescrushings' amazing 2-cd rarities release, "Girl. Echo. Suns. Veils." it is going to be in a very cool box. We ruled out a box made of dark matter or moon rock, and have opted for wood. If all goes well, we will have them available in mid-November. Price to be determined. Song list to be announced. You will get another update soon.

Everyone should be able to appreciate LLC, it's not often that you get to experience floating underwater without losing your breathe..
